Elipse Internet Service Provider
The Internet Service Provider Elipse Internet is part of KCOM Group UK. The KCOM
provide information and communications technology (ICT) and telecommunications services
to businesses through out the UK. They also provide internet and telecommunications
services to selected UK consumer markets.
The Kingston Communications also forms part of KCOM Group and is supporting small
to medium-sized businesses through its KC, Elipse and Mistral brands.
Kingston Communications acquired the Elipse during the year 2004.
Now Elipse is controlled by Kingston Communications and provides ADSL and Dialup
connections to the home user market Elipse also provides SDSL service and a Leased
Line service for the business market.
Services Offered
Residential services:
Elipse offers a home broadband service with a maximum speed of 8 Mbps.
Four options are provided to the customers based on the download limits. Option
1 provides 2GB down load while the other options 2,3 and 4 offer 10GB, 20Gb and
40GB respectively. The option 4 is for wireless users.
The residential users also have another fixed-price service without any usage limits,
under Evolution Broadband. Four options are provided under this service, as in the
case of home broadband service.
The users of the Evolution Broadband products come under the Fair Usage Policy.
As per this policy, when extremely large files are required to be downloaded regularly
the user should schedule a proportion of the download tasks to non peak times to
preserve an excellent service for other users.
Business Service:
The business broadband service also offers four options such as Teleworker,
option 1,option 2 and option 3. The Teleworker option has an usage limit of 3GB
while the other options have no limit. The Business Usage Policy applies to all
options.

Elipse offers many facilities to its customers. The company provides one
month free service for new customers. They offer excellent customer support in case
of problems. The customers are allowed to change options at any time after joining
the company. An easy to use, built in security software protects the users against
virus and spam. They also provide free Email facility and web space to the customers..
Another offer worth mentioning is the low cost telephone facility to the customers.
Also the business users are provided with limited free calls. .
